Jim’s Dairy Delites: Newcastle’s Historic Milk Bar SOLD and Undergoing Restoration Newy Staff
newy.com.au – Motorists should prepare for changes to overnight traffic conditions this week on Five Islands Road at Teralba, as essential cleaning and maintenance are set to commence on Five Islands Bridge over Cockle Creek.
Starting on Thursday, 7 November 2024, the work will take place from 7 pm to 5 am, Monday to Thursday nights, and is expected to wrap up within a week, pending weather conditions. To ensure safety for both workers and road users, lane closures will be implemented, along with a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h.
Drivers are advised to factor in an extra five minutes of travel time due to these changes. However, Over Size Over Mass vehicles operating under permit will not be affected, with guidance through the work zone provided as necessary.
Motorists are urged to drive cautiously, adhere to traffic signs, and follow any instructions given by traffic controllers. For up-to-date traffic information, call 132 701, visit livetraffic.com, or download the Live Traffic NSW app.
