Emergency services responded to reports of an assault on Benjamin Lee Drive around 2:30 am, where two 31-year-old men had been attacked, one sustaining a stab wound to the back. The injured man was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition, while the other suffered minor injuries. Following investigations, Port Stephens-Hunter Police District detectives arrested the teenager at a Raymond Terrace residence on Monday, 3 February 2025. He was charged with reckless wounding and was refused bail to appear before a children’s court on Tuesday, 4 February 2025.
