newy.com.au – Overnight lane closures and brief traffic stoppages will affect Myall Road at Cardiff this week as crews carry out essential maintenance work.
Work between Fifth Street and Lois Crescent will take place from 7pm to 5am on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 July, weather permitting.
One lane will be closed in each direction while traffic signal posts and lanterns are upgraded and line marking is updated to improve safety.
All lanes will also be closed for periods of up to 10 minutes on Wednesday night while crews move traffic signal mast arms. The closures will be carried out in stages, with traffic released as required.
Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place. Motorists have been urged to drive to the conditions and follow signs and traffic controllers’ directions.
