newy.com.au – Motorists will face overnight lane closures and a temporary 40km/h speed limit at the intersection of Adelaide Street and Glenelg Street in Raymond Terrace during road safety work scheduled to start on Sunday 25 October 2026.

Transport for NSW says crews will be on site for up to six night shifts between 25 October and Friday 18 December, weather permitting. Work will take place from Sunday to Thursday nights, between 8pm and 5am the following day. There will be no work on Friday nights or Saturdays.

Traffic lights may be switched off at times, with traffic controllers on site to direct road users and maintain footpath access. The temporary lane closures and reduced speed limit are intended to protect workers, pedestrians and motorists.
