Police appeal to locate Brady Chapman on outstanding warrant in Newcastle

newy.com.au – NSW Police are appealing for help to locate 19-year-old Brady Chapman, who is wanted on an outstanding warrant in the Newcastle area, issued on Friday 16 January 2026.

The warrant is linked to the same investigation as the alleged Marketown stabbing, in which three people have already been charged, as police continue inquiries.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm to 175cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.

Chapman is known to frequent the Newcastle and Thornton areas, and anyone with information about his whereabouts has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information is managed on a confidential basis.
