newy.com.au – Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a girl was allegedly sexually touched on a bus between Kurri Kurri and Gillieston Heights.

Police said three girls were travelling from Rotary Park at Kurri Kurri to Cessnock Road at Gillieston Heights about 3.50pm on Wednesday, 9 September, when an unknown man allegedly touched one of them on the hip and thigh. The girl was not injured.

Officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District are investigating. They believe the man pictured may be able to assist with their inquiries, and the image is available on NSW Police Force social media pages.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 40s or 50s, of medium to large build, with short grey hair. He was wearing a black hooded jumper with a white logo on the front and white writing on the sleeve, grey tracksuit pants and white Nike joggers.
