newy.com.au – Motorists using Morpeth Bridge will face changed traffic conditions on Tuesday 4 August while maintenance work is carried out.
Transport for NSW said work will take place between 10am and 2.30pm and is expected to be completed in one day, weather permitting.
A single-lane closure, stop-slow traffic controls and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during work hours. Drivers should follow signs and traffic controllers, drive to the conditions and allow up to five minutes of additional travel time.
Heavy vehicles travelling under a permit must remain on the approved route unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.
