newy.com.au – A civilian NSW Police Force employee has been suspended with pay after being charged over alleged domestic violence offences, including allegations she accessed another woman’s emails without permission.

Police said they were notified on Friday 3 July 2026 that a woman had allegedly accessed the emails of a woman known to her without permission. Following inquiries, officers executed a search warrant at a home in Buttaba later that day and seized a laptop.

The 44-year-old woman, who is employed as a civilian at a NSW Police Northern Region command, was arrested and taken to Toronto Police Station. She was charged with access/modify restricted data held in computer, stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic), and knowingly contravene prohibition/etc in AVO (domestic).

She was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 2 on Saturday 4 July, where she was granted strict conditional bail. She is due to appear before Newcastle Local Court on Tuesday 14 July 2026.
