newy.com.au – A 26-year-old Teralba man will face court today after allegedly threatening a motorist with a pistol during a road rage incident at Glendale.
Police allege the man produced the weapon in the car park of a shopping centre about 5.30pm on Tuesday, 4 August 2026, following a minor traffic incident.
Witnesses reported the confrontation to police, who attended an address at Teralba. Officers saw a vehicle leaving the property and stopped it a short time later.
A search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered two electronic control devices, also known as Tasers, a baton, three slingshots, a knife and a firearm.
The man was taken to Toronto Police Station and charged with possessing an unregistered firearm, multiple counts of possessing a prohibited weapon, being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, and intimidation.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in court on Wednesday, 5 August 2026.
