
newy.com.au – A 67-year-old motorcyclist has died after crashing on a fire trail in Putty State Forest in the Hunter Valley.
Emergency services were called to the track about 1pm on Thursday, 23 July, following reports a motorcycle had crashed.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service attended, but the rider was found dead at the scene.
Hunter Valley Police District officers established a crime scene and began investigating the circumstances of the crash. A report has been prepared for the NSW Coroner.
