newy.com.au – Motorists travelling on Gresford Road at Vacy will face changed traffic conditions for about three months while repairs and maintenance are carried out on the bridge over the Paterson River.
Transport for NSW will begin work on Vacy Bridge on Monday, 27 July, with crews operating from 6am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday. The project is expected to be completed within three months, weather permitting.
The work will include scour repairs beneath the bridge, reshaping of the abutments, vegetation removal and repainting.
Lane closures, stop-slow traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place to protect workers and motorists. Drivers have been asked to travel to the conditions and follow signs and directions from traffic controllers.
