newy.com.au – Motorists using the Pacific Highway at Heatherbrae will face changed overnight traffic conditions from Tuesday as Transport for NSW carries out resurfacing work near Hank Street.
The work will cover a 300-metre section of the highway, about 30 metres from Hank Street. To reduce disruption, crews will work overnight from 6pm to 3.30am from Tuesday, 7 July, with the job expected to take three nights, weather permitting.
Traffic control will be in place while the maintenance is carried out, including a southbound single lane closure and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h. Transport for NSW has advised road users to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic controllers.
Vehicles travelling under a permit must remain on the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator. Oversize and over mass vehicles can be accommodated and managed on arrival at the site via UHF Channel 19.
