newy.com.au – Motorists using Elderslie Road at Branxton should expect short delays on Monday morning as crews return to Elderslie Bridge to remove scaffolding from completed maintenance works.

Transport for NSW has been carrying out deck maintenance on the bridge to improve its strength and safety for motorists. With that work now finished, a crane will be brought in to help remove the scaffolding.

Traffic controllers will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists, with three bridge closures of up to 15 minutes each scheduled between 7.15am and 10.30am on Monday, 29 June.

The crane lifts will be halted if emergency vehicles need access. Motorists are being advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
