
newy.com.au – The northbound Twelve Mile Creek Rest Area off the Pacific Highway at Raymond Terrace will close overnight on Sunday for resurfacing work, with motorists and freight operators advised to plan alternative stops.
Transport for NSW says the work is scheduled to run from 6pm on Sunday 28 June until 3.30am and is expected to take one night to complete, weather permitting.
The rest area will be closed to all motorists and freight vehicles while the resurfacing is under way. Drivers needing a break are being advised to use other nearby rest areas.
Alternative stops include the Medowie Road Rest Area, about four kilometres from Twelve Mile Creek Rest Area, and the Station Creek Rest Area, about 20 kilometres away.
