Night closure planned for Edith Street at Waratah

newy.com.au – Motorists are being advised to prepare for changed traffic conditions in Waratah as maintenance work closes part of Edith Street on Friday night.

Transport for NSW said work at the intersection of Edith Street and Platt Street would include road resurfacing, requiring Edith Street to be closed between Myall Road and Lorna Street.

The work is scheduled to take place between 6pm and 3.30am on Friday, June 5, and is expected to be completed in one night, weather permitting.

Traffic control will be in place during the work, including a road closure and detour via Myall Road, Bridge Street and Lorna Street. Transport for NSW said the arrangements were needed for the safety of workers and motorists.
