newy.com.au – Motorists using Paterson Road Bridge at Paterson have been warned to expect changed traffic conditions from Thursday as Transport for NSW carries out maintenance and geotechnical investigations.

Work on Paterson Road is scheduled between 7am and 4pm from Thursday, June 4, and is expected to take two days to complete, weather permitting.

Traffic control will be in place during the work, including a single-lane closure, alternating stop/slow arrangements and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h to protect workers and road users. Drivers have been advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic controllers.

Transport for NSW has also reminded operators of vehicles travelling under permit that they must not leave the approved route listed on the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.

Road users can find more information at livetraffic.com/incident-details/275496, through the Live Traffic NSW app or by calling 132 701. App users can receive updates by searching for “Paterson Bridge”, selecting the incident and clicking “Follow”.
