newy.com.au – A 15-year-old boy has died after a car and pushbike collided on Wollombi Road at Bishops Bridge, about 10km west of Maitland, on Sunday 15 February 2026.
Emergency services were called to the road about 8.30pm following reports of a collision between a car and a pushbike.
Officers from Port Stephens Hunter Police District found the teenager with serious injuries when they arrived.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the boy but he died at the scene.
Crews from Cessnock VRA and Fire and Rescue NSW were also called to the crash.
Police have established a crime scene and begun investigating the circumstances of the crash, with a report to be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
