newy.com.au – A 33-year-old man has died after a motorbike collided with a four-wheel-drive at Windale on Wednesday 17 December 2025.
NSW Police said a crime scene was established at the intersection of South Street and Merrigum Street as officers investigate the circumstances of the crash. Investigators are also appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
Emergency services were called to the intersection about 9.35am following reports of a crash. Police were told the rider fell from the bike following the crash.
The rider was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died on the way to hospital, police said.
The 53-year-old driver of the 4WD was not injured and was taken to Belmont Hospital for mandatory testing.
