newy.com.au – Motorists travelling through Boolaroo and Speers Point are being warned of overnight traffic changes on TC Frith Avenue next week, as maintenance work is carried out between Main Road, Boolaroo and Five Islands Road, Speers Point.
Transport for NSW will undertake the works on Monday 11 August from 6pm to 5am, weather permitting. The project will include signposting, line marking and other maintenance aimed at improving safety for all road users, with the schedule designed to minimise disruption to peak traffic.
During the works, a single lane closure, intermittent stoppages under portable traffic signals and a 40 km/h speed limit will be in place. Traffic controllers will be on site to direct motorists, and Over Size Over Mass vehicles will need to arrange an escort by contacting Works Supervisor Jason Day on 0478 627 879.
Transport for NSW has urged drivers to follow all signage and traffic control directions while travelling through the area. Further details are available at www.livetraffic.com, via the Live Traffic NSW app or by calling 132 701.
