STORM UPDATE [Daytime]: Over 1400 premises are without power at Cardiff, 936 premises in Sunshine, Mirrabooka and Brightwaters due to a tree on powerlines, a tree down at Mandalong. Arcing wires at Stockton, tree down in East Maitland, a tree alight at twelve mile creek, earlier flash flooding at Jesmond, a car accident at Lambs Valley near Maitland and trains are not running on the Hunter line.
