newy.com.au – Night-time roadworks will affect traffic on the Pacific Highway at Blacksmiths from 29 July 2025, as essential resurfacing is carried out at the intersection with Turea and Gommera streets.

Transport for NSW has advised that one lane will be closed in one direction at a time while asphalt resurfacing works are undertaken to improve road safety and surface quality. The traffic lights at the intersection will be set to flashing amber in all directions during the works.

Work is scheduled between 8pm and 4am on Tuesday 29 July and Wednesday 30 July, with completion expected within two nights, weather permitting. Alternating traffic conditions will allow vehicles to pass in one direction at a time, supported by traffic control.

A reduced speed limit of 40 kilometres per hour will apply throughout the work period. The scheduled maintenance will occur on Sunday to Friday nights to minimise disruption.

“Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control,” Transport for NSW stated, adding that it appreciates the community’s patience.
