An investigation is underway after an armed man stormed a licensed venue in Jewells, north of New South Wales, on Friday, 28 March 2025.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 3pm, when a man reportedly forced his way into the premises on Ntaba Road wielding a broken glass bottle. He allegedly demanded and made off with a sum of cash before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured during the robbery.
Lake Macquarie Police District officers attended and established a crime scene. Detectives have since released CCTV images of a man they believe could assist with their investigation.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, medium build, with short hair and a beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing grey track pants and black shoes.
