“From cosplay competitions and tabletop gaming to a vibrant themed market and live interactive performances, Level Up at The Levee is designed to be an engaging and inclusive event for everyone,” he said.

One of the standout attractions will be the cosplay competition, where participants can vie for a $300 voucher to a local business of their choice. A professional cosplay photo wall will be set up for attendees to capture their incredible outfits, while the Comics Reading Lounge, featuring Maitland City Library’s extensive graphic novel collection, offers a space to relax and immerse in storytelling.

Creative visitors can also enjoy intricate LEGO displays and hands-on activities run by Bricks 4 Kidz, while board game and role-playing fans can test their skills at Good Games Maitland’s Tabletop Taverna.

“This event isn’t just about fun—it’s also a boost for local businesses,” Mr Franks added. “With hundreds of visitors expected, it’s a fantastic opportunity for traders to connect with new customers and showcase what they have to offer.”
