Motorcyclist Killed in Hunter Valley Crash at Greta

newy.com.au – A motorcyclist has tragically lost his life following a crash in the Hunter Valley on Wednesday, 19 March 2025.

Emergency services were called to Camp Road in Greta around 4:45pm after reports that a motorcycle had lost control and crashed into a tree. The rider, believed to be a man in his 30s, was thrown from the vehicle.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene and provided treatment, but despite their efforts, the man could not be revived. His identity has not yet been formally confirmed.

No other injuries were reported in the incident.

Hunter Valley Police have established a crime scene, and the motorcycle has been seized for forensic examination. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
