newy.com.au – A fatal motorcycle accident in the Hunter Valley has claimed the life of a 28-year-old man over the weekend.
Emergency services were called to Putty Road, Howes Valley, around 10:50am on Sunday, 9 February 2025, after reports of a single-vehicle crash. Police from the Hunter Valley Police District arrived to find that the motorcycle had veered off the road and collided with a tree.
Despite efforts from NSW Ambulance paramedics, the rider succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
A crime scene was established, and an investigation into the circumstances of the crash is underway. Authorities will prepare a report for the Coroner.
