Man Dies in Tea Gardens Single-Vehicle Crash

A man has tragically died after his ute collided with a tree in Tea Gardens this morning.

Emergency services were called to Myall Street, Tea Gardens, just after 9:15am today (Saturday, 28 September 2024), following reports of the crash. Upon arrival, officers from the Port Stephens-Hunter Police District found the vehicle had veered off the road and struck a tree.

Despite the efforts of NSW Ambulance paramedics, the sole occupant of the vehicle, a 53-year-old man, was unable to be revived and passed away at the scene.

Police have established a crime scene as investigations into the cause of the crash are underway. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
