Car Fire in Maryland Investigated as Arson

At around 8:30pm on Monday, 9th September 2024, Fire and Rescue crews from Wallsend responded to reports of a vehicle fire in Garawon Place, Maryland. Upon arrival, firefighters found a Hyundai sedan fully engulfed in flames.

Despite their efforts, the vehicle was completely destroyed by the time the fire was extinguished. There were no occupants in the vehicle at the time of the incident, and the fire is being treated as suspicious by NSW Police.

Authorities are investigating the blaze as a potential case of arson.
