Hunter Valley, NSW – A 14-year-old boy has been charged following a series of alleged attempted break and enters in the Hunter Valley overnight.
Between 2am and 4am on Thursday, 22 August 2024, police received multiple reports of suspicious activity, including attempted break and enter and robbery incidents at several properties on Pioneer Road, Casey Drive, Nelson Drive, and Dominion Avenue in Hunterview.
Officers from the Hunter Valley Police District attended the scene and initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the reported incidents.
During their inquiries, at approximately 4am, police located a group of five individuals near the intersection of Bridgeman Road and Blaxland Avenue in Singleton. When officers approached, the group allegedly attempted to flee the area.

The teenager was also charged in connection with two outstanding warrants related to a previous offence involving break and enter and robbery in company.
The boy was refused bail and is scheduled to appear before a Children’s Court today, Friday, 23 August 2024.
