Car Crash in Wallsend Causes Property Damage
Wallsend, NSW – A car crash at the intersection of Close Street and Murnin Street in Wallsend caused significant property damage on Friday, 9th August 2024.
At around 3:30 pm on Friday, Fire and Rescue NSW Wallsend responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection. Upon arrival, crews discovered two vehicles with substantial damage, reportedly due to one vehicle failing to give way.
The impact of the collision propelled a black Nissan station wagon into the front yard of a nearby home, causing damage to the property. Fortunately, all occupants of the vehicles were uninjured.
Newcastle Police and NSW Ambulance were also on the scene to assist.
