Danielle presents the best events coming up in Newcastle this weekend.

Hello Newcastle! This is your weekend, i’m Danielle and right now i’m standing outside King Street Hotel in Newcastle which is going to play host to the Stereosonic Launch Party this Saturday night. Party all night with a lineup of DJ’s including Surian, Ultamaidam Crew, Carson Dodd, DJ Boogie and many more. There will be $6 drinks between 9 and 11 pm..

Also on Saturday the Cambridge will host `Bonjah` who will perform their brand new album `Beautiful Wild` as a part of their national tour. They recently reached number 11 on the Australian ARIA charts which is one of the proudest moments for the Melbourne Band. Their explosive live act is a must see and definitely will not disappoint.

And on Friday `Comedy at the Playhouse` will return to the Civic Theatre featuring `Al Del Bene`. He is one of the most sought after acts in the US after he found his feet in LA… Gary Bradbury, Nikki Britton and Gareth Wasik will also perform. Tickets are only $25, information on the Ruffhouse Comedy website.

Also this Friday the `Annual Rescue Ball` will be held at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre. Proceeds will help support the `Westpac Rescue Helicopter`. Enjoy champagne, wine, a 3 course meal and great live entertainment. Tickets are only $155 and tables of 10 are available.

Now here’s one for the families. Circus Avalon will perform at the Broadmeadow PCYC this Friday and Saturday. Their show features Trapeze, Juggling, Silks, Contortion and more. Information on the Circus Avalon Website.

Now, checking the weather for this weekend, there will be a possible shower, winds up to 20 kilometers an hour, top of 19 degrees.
